Prvi Partizan is majority-owned by the government of Serbia. In other words, when Serbs fight, they fight with Prvi Partizan ammo. You probably haven’t got a Serbian Zastava M21, but if you own an AR-15 or any other 5.56×45 rifle then it’s going to love this range ammo!
This is M193 ammo – loaded to the same specs as the ammo utilized by our own Armed Forces during training and combat alike. The M193 load’s 55 grain bullet delivers the 3,240 fps muzzle velocity you’re probably already well-accustomed to, and this FMJ’s lack of any steel or other ferrous metals makes it 100% nonmagnetic. Don’t count on an FMJ to deliver the terminal expansion you’d want for taking medium-size game, but do expect this bullet’s boat tail to promote flatter downrange trajectories.
Prvi Partizan’s 5.56 ammo isn’t just nonmagnetic. It’s also reloadable thanks to its virgin brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers. This ammo’s primers additionally wear red sealant for added protection against rain and other miserable weather. This is new production ammo, not military surplus!

M193 is typically just meant for basic training repetitions, but this Prvi Partizan load consistently prints tight 2-inch groups for me at 100 yards. The boat-tail design stabilizes exceptionally well in crosswinds compared to cheap flat-base 55-grain bullets. It’s easily my preferred range-day option.

I’ve gone through roughly 600 rounds of this PPU M193 through my custom 16-inch AR, and I haven’t experienced a single failure to fire or feed. The uniform, cleanly cut brass cases are vastly superior to typical bulk surplus stuff. It’s excellent if you intend to save the boxer-primed casings for reloading later on.
